LOADING BAY ACCESS INFORMATION (For Contractors)

To enter DWTC’s loading bay, contractors need to purchase Vehicle Passes and also report to Al Warsan Holding Area to be assigned a time slot and issued a queuing token. The token/vehicle pass will need to be presented at the DWTC loading bay for access. Detailed information on how to purchase badges can be found in the Contractor + Portal - Assign Badges .pdf file.

Important: Contractor Badges and Vehicle Passes need to be digitally purchased and assigned on the DWTC Contractor+ Portal.
This must be done prior to the build-up/ set-up day as the process takes time.

Onsite registration is no longer available at the venue. Badges/passes must be purchased prior to build-up or breakdown, so contractor badges are approved and issued in time.    

Each Vehicle accessing through the loading bay must have a Vehicle Pass assigned to it. 


If you are bringing brochures, pull up banners or posters, these can be brought in from the private car parks via the main exhibition entrance.  For furniture or larger items, access from the loading bay is required.

A Business Centre is located next to Hall 3 entrance on the Concourse. Should you wish to contact them before the exhibition please find below the contact details. The opening hours are from 08:30hrs to 19:30hrs, Monday to Friday.

Cash Machines 
The following facilities are available at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC):

  • Emirates NBD Bank, located on the concourse between Hall 3 & 4
  • Emirates NBD Bank, located on the concourse, adjacent to Sheikh Maktoum Hall, opposite Hall 8
  • Various ATM machines, on the concourse adjacent to Halls 3, 6 & 8
  • A General Post Office, on the concourse, adjacent to Sheikh Maktoum Hall
  • Al Rostamani Money Exchange, on the concourse, adjacent to Hall 6


Disabled Access & Facilities 

  • All exhibition halls, meeting rooms and public areas are accessible by wheelchair. Toilets on the ground floor and above Exhibition Halls 6, 7 and 8 also have disabled access.
  • There are specific parking bays which are reserved for disabled drivers, on arrival at the Venue please ask the Car Parking attendants for further information.

Manual Wheelchairs

  • Collection points: Convention Gate, Hall 1 & EMS all have a stock of manual wheelchairs, but they’re not powered. The DWTC does not have scooters available for hire.
  • Rental procedure: Wheelchairs can be rented at no charge by simply handing over an original ID (Emirates ID/ passport/ license) including the client’s name and phone number. Original ID will be returned to the client upon receiving the wheelchair.

First Aid 
First aid facilities will be available at all times during the show including during the stand build-up and breakdown periods. First aid care can be found by contacting the organisers or by asking the nearest security guard.

Smoking Policy
Smoking/ vaping is prohibited in the exhibition areas, but ashtrays/trash units are supplied in external designated areas.

Security

  • Stands must not be left unattended at any time.
  • While every precaution is taken to ensure the safety and security of personnel and equipment, we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss, damage, or consequential losses of personnel and property.
  • We strongly recommend that any valuable items be kept under constant supervision and removed each evening.
  • General security for the exhibition will operate 24 hours and is controlled by the organizers in conjunction with DWTC.
  • Exhibitors removing materials and stands during the show opening times must have a signed and stamped letter of authorization from the organizers, detailing the items that need to be removed.
  • Exhibitors that require access to their stands outside the normal hours of the stand build-up, open times or breakdown of the exhibition must request permission from the organizers.
  • Security other than DWTC’s security personnel will not be allowed; fines and imprisonment may result if the police find security guards stationed on your stand and they are not supplied by DWTC. This is following the UAE’s Laws and Regulations – Ministerial Decision # 587 – 2008 Federal Law # 37 which came into force on 1 June 2009.
